Launching in the midst of the Multi Purpose Vehicle series of four wheelers in India, the all new Datsun Go plus, is one of the most compact and value for money design generated for a perfect family. The extra compact design of the vehicle is one such feature that makes it feel as a hatchback car sized family vehicle. With all the external characteristics of an MPV and the build quality of the same, the all new Datsun Go plus stands head-to-head with its competitors with some special characters, equipments and features than the others. Design and styling of the vehicle shares similar elements and concepts with that of the Datsun Go hatch back variant which was launched earlier. Although it shares the same design concept, the Go plus comes with an extra long rear section for that is the reason what makes it a Multi-Utility Vehicle. With a capacity of seating seven individual passengers, the Datsun Go plus comes with a competing price tag unlike other rivals in its category. Though the new Go plus is said to be a compact MPV, the control systems and other specifications of the vehicle is something which assures a greater percentage of performance. The all new Datsun Go plus comes with a 1198cc, 12 valve 3 Cylinders, In-Line 3, DOHC, 2WD Front engine which has an overall capacity to deliver a maximum power of 68 Ps at the rate of 5000 RPM and a net torque of 104 Nm at around 4000 RPM respectively. Transmission system of the vehicle comes in with a 5-Speed Manual (Cable Type with Hydraulic Clutch Operation System). Balance and stability of the vehicle is maintained with the installation of a front Macpherson strut with suspension member and double pivot lower arm and a rear H-type torsion beam with high performance linear damper suspension system, The overall front and rear damping during high performance is also reduced with the help of the suspension system of the vehicle. Braking system of the vehicle comes with a front ventilated disc and a rear drum brake callipers. The company has made available the vehicle in few dynamic colour tone like the Ruby Red, Grey, White, Silver and Gold. With an overall fuel tank capacity of 35 litres, the all new Datsun Go Plus reduced the fuel consumption with its all new control system which in turn leaves a total fuel efficiency of 20.6 kmpl.
