Launched in India in 2011.

Force Motors introduced Gurkha in Indian market. The Gurkha is a Sport Utility Vehicle(SUV), it ensures easier off-road driving. The 2013 Gurkha utilizes the Mercedes OM616 engine, which is known for its fuel efficiency. All the three variants- Soft Top BS3 2WD, Soft Top BS3 4WD and Hard Top BS3 4WD gives a mileage of 17 kmpl. Equipping itself with a proven fuel efficient 2.2L TD 2650 FTI BS-III Turbo : (Metal Top) Charged Inter-cooled engine from the Mercedes with a displacement capacity of 2596cc, which is the best in class power and performance engine, deliver an overall fuel efficiency of 18 kmpl with a fuel tank capacity of 63 litres. A maximum power and torque output of 60 kW (82 PS) and 230 Nm at the rate of 3200 rpm and 2000 rpm respectively are delivered from the massive engine of the vehicle. A front Independent with Solid Torsion Bar & Hydraulic Telescopic Shock Absorber & Anti roll bar and a rear Semi Elliptical Leaf Spring with Hydraulic Telescopic Shock Absorber & Anti roll bar suspension system helps the vehicle to gain balance and stability of drive. Braking system of the vehicle comes with a front and rear Dual Circuit Hydraulic Vacuum Assisted with auto wear adjuster & LCRV isc and Drum brake calipers respectively.
