Ford India has officially unveiled the Ford EcoSport at Infiniti Mall, Malad West, Mumbai on 15th March. The vehicle unveiled as part of their '12 city roadshow' initiative, will be on public display till March 17th.
Ford EcoSport is currently on display at the EcoSport Urban Hub. The 12-city road show that will be held in Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Kochi, Ludhiana, Chennai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune and Kolkata. The Ford will showcase the EcoSport at the Ambience Mall in Gurgaon on the 22nd of March and Mantri Square Mall in Bangalore between 29-31st March 2013.
Ford showcased the EcoSport at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show, has been a part of many auto shows, including Paris, Detroit and Geneva. Ford EcoSport will be showcased at Saket City Walk Mall, New Delhi on Sunday March 17.
The 2013 Ford EcoSport will be the company's first vehicle in India to offer the EcoBoost engine. The high performance EcoBoost engine offers good fuel economy and low emissions. Ford EcoSport is based on B Car platform.
The 2013 Ford EcoSport will be offered in four trims, eight colours, is likely to come in three engine options- a 1.0-litre EcoBoost 3-cylinder petrol engine, a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine(with 90 PS). Both the petrol and diesel variants come with the manual transmissions while the automatic gearbox will come only in the petrol variant.

The vehicle come with the features like 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, Hill Launch Assist, 560-litre storage area with rear seats folded, under seat storage at the front, cooled glove box, side curtain airbags along with the driver and front passenger airbags, push button start and keyless entry.
