Mahindra to Launch SsangYong Rexton on October 17

Indian automobile conglomerate, Mahindra and Mahindra is all set to launch a high end Sport Utility Vehicle, the Rexton under its new brand SsangYong on 17th October.

SsangYong is the fourth largest automobile consortium in South Korea. Recently, Mahindra and Mahindra acquired a 70% share of SsangYong.



"The third-generation, high-end Rexton has carved out its own niche in 66 countries around the world, including Europe, Russia and Korea. With the launch of the SsangYong Rexton, we hope to further expand the Mahindra presence in the high-end SUV segment,” said M&M Ltd., automotive and farm equipment sectors President, and Chairman of SsangYong Motors, Mr. Pawan Goenka.



The Rexton is priced around Rs. 20 Lakh(ex-showroom Delhi). The launch will take place on October 17 in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Mahindra celebrated the 1st year anniversary of their highly rated SUV, the XUV 5OO. So far more than 30000 units of XUV 5OO have been touched the road.
