Renault Duster 2015 Launched

And it's official! India gets the new Renault Duster 2015 model. Several improvements have been made on the car to make it look different and unique this year.



The manufacturer seems to have concentrated more on the interior aesthetics this time as the SUV gets major changes on the interior rather than on the exterior. Moreover, there are added safety features and better mileage this time. So the new Renault Duster is worth buying.



On the mechanical side, the engine gets a finer tuning and offers better rates of acceleration and low-end torque, which definitely takes the driving experience to a whole new level. With the new model that is capable of churning out a power of 110 PS, the mileage goes up to 19.64 kmpl, while on the 85 PS model, the mileage offered for the diesel variant is 19.87 kmpl. Also, the inbuilt ECO mode adds to improving the mileage by a significant 10%. While the diesel variants do not get much of a mechanical change, the engine comes with new electrical systems added on to it. The petrol variant gets the 1.6 litre K4M engine that gives a maximum power output of 104 PS and a maximum torque of 148 Nm.



On the interiors, as mentioned earlier, more comfort features have been added. They include a comfortable arm rest, gear shift indicators, new infotainment display with service reminders, ECO mode indicator, cruise control, speed limiter, an improved design for the instrument cluster. Safety features also get an uplift from the previous versions by adding on to the car, new door locks fitted with speed-sensors, improved NVH levels for lowering the noise inside the cabin and a dashboard made of soft-touch plastic. The seats get a new upholstery as well, that match with its exteriors.



The prices of the new Renault Duster have been hiked a bit owing to the added features. Prices start at Rs 8.3 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The detailed price listing of the new Renault Duster is as follows:
