BMW has unveiled the particulars and images of the marginally facelifted Z4 Roadster. The striking news is the released on ahead of its Detroit Motor show in January.
Visually the notable changes include revised LED infused headlamps and a choice of new 17 inch and 18 inch alloy wheel designs. The vehicle is equipped with a standard six-speed manual gearbox. Also there is an optional eight-speed auto gearbox available. The other highlights are an optional Design Pure Traction Pack, Which adds contrasting black and orange trim to the cabin.
The current BMW was introduced four years ago. Now BMW's commitment to the modern market make them to facelift the old version. BMW Z4 roadster is excellent for singletons and young couples.
If interested there is a selection of driving assistance system provided. The integrated professional navigation system with internet connection provides Real time traffic information system and entertainment inside the car.
BMW is powered by a 2 litre turbo petrol engine that develops 154 bhp. Aside from the new sDrive18i model, the engine in other Z4 models like sDrive20i, sDrive28i, sDrive35i and sDrive35is remains unchanged. While the Indian market Z4s comes with sDrive35i variant, which offers 3litre turbo charged petrol motor good for 304 bhp.
The new BMW offers a color variants of Mineral Grey, Glacier Silver and Valencia Orange. Revised BMW will reach the market by the second half of 2013 and is expected a price of 70lakh in Indian market.
