Mercedes has taken the wraps of its new flagship limo in India. The latest Mercedes – Maybach S600 super-limo was unveiled at its performance centre in Pune. The limo is powered by a 6 litre V12 petrol engine with peak power of 525hp. The bi-turbo unit churns out 830Nm from as low as 1900rpm to offer the car a 0-100Km time of 5 seconds. The vehicle can attain an electronically controlled top speed of 250Km. The Maybach S600 is the 12th model introduced by the company in the Indian market. Mercedes-Benz India has the largest manufacturing facility among luxury car makers with a capacity to roll out 20,000 units per year. The pinnacle of luxury motoring is launched in India in two variants, the Mercedes – Maybach S600 and the S500. The Mercedes – Maybach S500, is the most luxurious Mercedes-Benz ever to be locally produced in India, the start of the production process of the Mercedes – Maybach S500 is a landmark accomplishment for the company and this proves their high competence in manufacturing.

It completes the sprint from 0-100Km in 5.0 seconds, while the top speed is 250Km. The V8 biturbo in the Mercedes – Maybach S500 has a displacement of 4663cc and an output of 459hp. The peak torque is 700Nm. Alloy wheel options are also laid out for the customers to choose as per their preferences, 19inch multi spoke alloys, 19inch 5 twin spoke alloys and 19inch multi twin spoke alloys are among the option list of alloy wheels. As far as the technical specifications matter both models have a little variation, but the performance should be soothing for enthusiasts.
