The Detroit Auto Show aka North American International Auto Show is becoming the ultimate product launch stage for any car maker in the world. No susrpise that the Royal English ultra premium car manufacturer, Bentley Motors Limited, has also utilized the golden oppurtunity to wrapp off the cover of its lately tuned-up machines - Continental GT V8 S and Continental GTC V8 S.
Both the Continental GT V8 S and the Continental GTC V8 S are the tune-up versions of the existing standard variants - Continental GT V8 and Continental GTC V8 respectively. The all new Continental GT V8 S is a luxury coupe and the Continental GTC V8 S is covertible show-off.
The Continental GT V8 S is powered by a massive 4 litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine, generating a tremendous power of 521 bhp (389 kW / 528 PS) @ 6,000 rpm and a stunning torque of 680 Nm @ 1700 RPM. It's coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission sent to all four wheels. The machine clocks 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.3 seconds. The top speed is 192 mph (309 km/h).
On the other hand, the Continental GTC V8 S is powered by the same 4 litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 521 bhp (388 kW / 528 PS) of max power @ 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 680 Nm at 1700 rpm. It is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission sent to all four wheels. It takes 4.5 seconds to clock 60 mph from stand-still. The top speed of the GT V8 S Convertible is 191mph (308 km/h).
