The Montreal Auto Show sets a new beginning for the third edition of the Range Rover Evoque. The NW8, which is the series name given to the new version of the Evoque, marked its debut appearance in the event. Winning a millions of heart the beast is ready to pursuit. Range Rover showcased three new models for the Evoque this year, and the NW8 is one among the three to be launched.
Representing the postal code of the North West London, the NW8 is designed with the city's creative scene and is home to the famous Abbey Road. Exterior design of the Evoque NW8 looks similar to that of the older version, yet it comes in a Fuji White colour tone with a Firenze Red contrast colour tone on the roof and matching red mirror caps.
A typographic Range Rover lettering also comes in the same red colour pattern. Added features such as darkened head and fog lights, clear rear lights and Santorini black wing vents are installed in the new NW8 Evoque.
Taking a look into the interiors, customers get a choice of Taurus-leather ebony with pimento-perforated inserts or ebony seats with ebony inserts. The trade mark zebra crossing stripes of the Abbey Road can be seen in the tread plates, seat tags and key fob.
Engine specifications matches with that of a standard Range Rover Evoque. The NW8 is equipped with a 2.0 liter gas engine which has the capacity to deliver a maximum power of 236 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque. Transmission system includes a 9-speed automatic gear shifting system.
The company has promised to offer crisper gear shifts and less gear hunting for the 9-speed automatic transmission system. Finally the NW8 comes with a Four-wheel drive as the standard option.
Loaded with super features, technology and contrasting colour variants, the new NW8 Evoque from Range Rover is expected to mark its signature. The special-edition vehicle from Range Rover will only produce 1000 units which is indeed a very less count.
