2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed

British Luxury brand Bentley has introduced the 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed in India.



The 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed was first unveiled in June 2012, at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed. The GTS is the fastest 4-seater vehicle in the world and it came with a 2-door.



The Continental GT Speed is powered by a 6.0-litre, twin-turbo W12 engine. The W12 engine churns out peak power of 625 PS and a peak of torque 800 Nm, which is 50 PS and 100 Nm more than previous one. The engine come mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox. The GT Speed is able to accelerate from zero to 100km/h in just 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 330 km/hr.

Bentley states that the new Continental GT Speed is 13 percent more fuel efficient than its predecessor. The GT Speed also offers an improved mileage and CO2 emissions by 12% over its predecessor.



The interiors of the Continental GT Speed is made of high quality materials and it equipped with a touch screen infotainment system that has 15GB of storage space, and an array of features such as iPod, SD card and mp3 connectivity, six CD changer, point of interest mapping, optional satellite landscape imagery, live traffic data and digital radio.

The major changes made on Continental GT Speed is the 21 inch alloy wheels, blackened front grille and revised air intakes. GT Speed has a fabric roof, which can be put up or down easily, but its very difficult to maintain in the dusty Indian roads.



The new Continental GT Speed is equipped with the safety features such as traction control, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake force distribution, hydraulic brake assistance, drag torque control and aquaplane detection.

The German auto major, Volkswagen Group company has tie-up with Exclusive Motors Pvt. Ltd. for selling Bentley cars in India. The 2013 Bentley Continental GT Speed is available in India with a sticker price of INR 1.99 crores (Ex showroom, Delhi).
