Hennessey Charger SRT Hellcat
As the name suggests, power jumps from a heady 707hp to a whopping 852hp, Strap the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat HPE850 to the dyno and the supercharged monster will put down 741hp and 652lb.ft of torque at the rear wheels. To make this earth moving power, Hennessey makes a raft of modifications to the 6.2 litre supercharged V8 engine. The ECU is swapped out for a custom unit and engineers install a high-flow air intake, a pulley that increases supercharger boost by about 2psi, a ported throttle body and a ported supercharger housing. The end result is an astonishing increase of 145hp. To differentiate the HPE850 from the limp-wristed base Charger Hellcats your are bound to see on the drag strip, the Hennessey Hellcat comes with embroidered Hennessey headrests on the inside, along with HPE850 badging on the exterior. Each HPE850 is numbered, with a special dash plaque on the inside, as well as a serial plaque on the engine.
