With a 6-speed manual transmission system attached to the 1461cc 4-cylinder in-line 4-valve DOHC, 1.5 dCI K9K THP Diesel engine, the vehicle reduces the fuel consumption and delivers an overall mileage of 20kmpl which is the best in class mileage for a Sports Utility Vehicle. The high performance engine of the AWD Duster is capable of producing a maximum power output of 108 Bhp at the rate of 3800 rpm and a net torque of 248 Nm at the rate of 2250 rpm. Suspension system of the vehicle is equipped with a set of front Independent Mac-Pherson strut with coil springs & anti-roll bar and a rear Torsion beam axle with coil springs & anti-roll bar technology. Assisting with the braking system of the vehicle is a standard option of both Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and an Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) accompanied by a front disc and rear drum brake calipers
